My Favorite Moment in my Life

I have never had a brother or sister  before. I was about 5 years old when my brother and sister were  born.  This is my story how I got my twin brother and sister, I remember like it was yesterday............................................

I was in my little bed. It was so soft and comfortable. Every time, I sat on it or looked at the comforter, I always had a flashback of all my memories. (It was a Whinnie-The-Pooh bed). At the  time, I was really lonesome. Of course there were other kids in my neighborhood. In fact these were the kids I really knew the most. I had no pets, either. I had my toys and books and my bed. Since I was homeschooled, I didn't see my friends often.I was homeschooled beacuse my parents felt that they should teach me, instead of teachers teaching me. I could also learn things that  the teachers couldn't teach me. They were in public schools, which means they rode buses. Sometimes they were at a friend's house or just couldn't play.

One night, my parents, seeing that I was really lonesome, asked me if I wanted a brother or sister. Now for a little girl like me, I realized that they asked no one else but me. This was pretty special. I had never had either on of them so I couldn't choose. So I simply said, "Both." Now, in my head I was thinking, "Instead of one, two means twice the fun!" The look of shock was on their faces. They told me, "No, you can only have one."  But I got the better of them. I insisted that I have both. So they left, and I didn't realize how difficult it would be.

The next day, I was in my room. My room was my favorite place to be. It was quiet and gentle as a forest. The walls were painted that way, too. There were trees and birds. A birdhouse and a rabbit. My favorite was the colorful kite that was painted beside my bed. It was a beautiful room. Months passed and I thought was never going to the hospital. But finally, she did.

Often, I stayed at my nana's house or my grandfather's house. Waiting seemed like a million years and I was getting impatient. My dad stayed with my mom at the hospital. Once, I visited my mom and she looked tired, too. Nana took me to her house and the scent of fresh cookies greeted us at the door. I worried that my wish wouldn't come true.  Then, one afternoon the phone rang. My nana picked it up and her lit up like a lamp, with joy. She told me,"You have a new little sister and brother. Caroline and Joshua Williams."  You can imagine how excited I was.
We visited them in the hospital the next day. Everyone came to see them. My grandfather was very happy, because he got to hold them for the first time. They were small, to me. Of course they had to stay in the hospital. But sure enough, the hospital released them, and they could come home to us.

This was my favorite moment of my life. I have other favorites, too. But this story is my 1st.
